Tickets can be purchased up until showtime, as long as the Ruckus hasn't sold out yet. Tickets are at their lowest prices for the rest of the year RIGHT NOW!!
Campsites will be available online until July 21st at noon. From then until Saturday, you'll only be able to purchase campsites through the Guthrie County Fairboard on site when you arrive. They're very accommodating, and will be able to find a place for you to camp when you arrive, even if our traditional online sites have been sold out. Remember, you must have a ticket if you want to enter the fairgrounds.
Friday and Saturday the gates open at 6 and the shows start at 7.
You can start pulling your campers into the campgrounds starting July 22nd. The campground entrance usually gets pretty busy Wednesday with campers pulling in. The fairboard will be onsite during the evening the week of the Ruckus to assist the folks camping. Times are from noon on Saturday the 22nd until 9pm, then Sunday until Saturday the 29th will be from 8am to 9pm. You are only allowed to enter though the east gate off of Highway 25.
We're doing things a little different this year, where we'll host two separate sites for box offices. One will be next to the camping check-in location, and the other will be in the box office located inside the new Events Center just west of the show area. The camping check-in location will be open during the times of the camper check in, with the exception of moving to the Events Center an hour before gates open (gates open at 6). In addition to getting your campsites and tickets in one location, you'll also be able to renew your campsite for next year, and it'll all be ONLINE!!!
In addition to the food vendors we have during the show, vendors will be next to the Buttler Agronomy Services Free Stage where all the activities take place serving breakfast, lunch, and after show meals for everyone from Friday morning to Sunday morning.
We'll also have a place set up near the camper check-in location where you can purchase ice, water, and Gatorade. The times will be similar to the camper check-in times as the fair board will also be manning the "convenience store".
We'll be carrying over a lot of the additional activities from the 2016 Ruckus into the 2017 Ruckus, but you may still be wondering what they all are or where they're located.
We've got a radar gun set up for you to challenge your friends to see who can throw the fastest. It'll measure the speed of the old beer can you'll throw against the wall. Prizes will be given away for the fastest throws each night! Here are the hours:
We'll update this list as we finalize more activities occurring throughout the Ruckus!
Again by popular demand, canned beer will be making an appearance at this year's Ruckus. We'll be going back to the method of purchasing beer tickets to keep our lines short to get your ice cold beverages. The beer ticket tent will be located close to the beer tent during the show, and we'll also feature another location for a short time. If you're like us and want to keep the time from show entry to cold beer in hand to a minimum, you'll appreciate our pre-sale of beer tickets while you scan in your show tickets for your wristband. Stock up on tickets to allow for minimal wait times in line during the show.
Our large parking lot at the southeast corner of the fairgrounds will be where you can park any vehicles you have (you can keep one vehicle at your campsite). Parking is $10/day or $15/weekend.
We will be running a shuttle bus to and from Springbrook State Park on Friday and Saturday. The times are as follows:
There will be ONE pick up and drop off to and from Stuart on Friday and Saturday. The pick up will be at 5pm, and then back to Stuart after the show.
