Recent News for Guthrie's River Ruckus

This year's GRR will be held on Friday and Saturday, July 26th and 27th.

The Ruckus Rumbles

This year the fans are picking the Friday night opener by means of some 'Battle of the Bands' concerts. There is one show a month, from January through March. February's Ruckus Rumble will also be the first time the acts are announced for this year's Guthrie's River Ruckus. The Ruckus Rumbles will be held at the old Community Building on the Guthrie County Fairgrounds (as long as the weather stays cold). As it warms up, the Ruckus Rumbles will most likely be outdoor events. The finals will be Friday, May 24th.

The January 5th Ruckus Rumble features

• Jason Reed and Kerosene
• Kick
• Danny Grause & the Boonetucky Sound

We would like to congratulate Danny Grause & the Boonetucky Sound for their first place finish at the first Ruckus Rumble.

The February 2nd Ruckus Rumble features (2013 GRR lineup announced at this show)

• Ghost Riders
• Rebel Road
• Neil Hewitt

We would like to congratulate Ghost Riders and Neil Hewitt as the winning bands from the second Ruckus Rumble.

The March 2nd Ruckus Rumble features

• Ira Grace & the Bible Belt Prophets
• Brad Morgan

We would like to congratulate Brad Morgan and his band for their first place finish at the last Ruckus Rumble before the finals.

The Final Round
The winners from these three Ruckus Rumbles will battle it out in the final round on Friday, May 24th to see who will open up Guthrie's River Ruckus on Friday, July 26th!

The doors open at 6 and the bands start at 7. Camping is available at the fairgrounds.
